Cynthia Padilla, volunteer mom from the Make A Difference Club at Winston Campus Elementary School in Palatine, invited us to meet and speak with this years group of 30 kids. After watching a short video, the kids had many questions about caring for their pets, innoculations, microchipping and how they could grow up to be responsible pet owners some day. The children were all sent home with important brochures on spaying and neutering, pet awareness decals for their homes and information on Strays Halfway House. It is never to young to teach our children about the lifetime committment we owe to our pets.
