Lincoln State Cat Show 2011
Harper College was home again for the Lincoln State Cat Show that was held on February 26th & 27th.
Strays HH along with other food venders and rescue groups was in attendance to raise awareness for spaying and neutering, selling our homemade fleece blankets and toys and asking for help for our kitten Lovie and his medical bills. Our fleece blankets were a huge success and also some new items that were never before sold, really cute car magnets in the shape of a paw, a life preserver or a dog bone just to name a few.
We were helped by volunteers Maggie Manning, Melissa Jachowske, Joyce Kuhns, Lauren Golden, James Maila, Peggy Aaland and Gerard. These fundraising events could not happen if we did not have volunteers to help. A big thank you to our former adopters of 10, 15 and 20 years ago that stopped by our booth to give us a big Hello.
